Coire Glas

Coire Glas is set amidst some of the most breathtaking scenery the Highlands has to offer, with far reaching views to the Grey Corries, Ben Nevis & The Nevis Range.

Whilst looking out over the Leanachan forest guests can enjoy a hearty and delicious breakfast with a variety of fruits, yogurts, cereals and juices and full Scottish breakfast for those with a hearty appetite. We also offer smoked salmon and scrambled eggs served on brown toast.

By arrangement we can provide packed lunches and evening meals. We pride ourselves in producing excellent home cooked food using local produce wherever possible. A vegetarian option is available at all meals. We also provide a drying room.

The village is within easy walking distance and has a train station, bus stops, two restaurants, two pubs, a village shop, post office, cash machine and a woollen mill with a craft and whisky shop. The Commando monument is only 15 minutes walk away.

Coire Glas is well situated at one of the few major crossroads in the Highlands to enable guests to unpack their bags for 3 or 4 nights to explore in all directions, wether it be north to Fort Augustus and Castle Urquhart and Inverness, the bridge to Syke, Eilean Donan Castle and Applecross south to Glen Coe, the Corran Feryy and out to Ardnamurchan point, east to Ardverkie House, home of Monarch of the Glen and onto Aviemore or Pitlochry and the House of Bruar and west to The Glenfinnan Monument and take in the viaduct made famous by Harry Potter, the breathtaking views of Loch Sheil and travel on the Arisag and the fishing port of Mallaig and the ferries to the Isles and the Isle of Skye.
